The original 1922 adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula, Nosferatu A Symphony of Horror has been a chilling classic from the day it first hit the silver screen. The silent Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau vampire thriller has been released many times over the years with only a musical score to enjoy it by. Now for the first time you can watch the film with a full sound experience. New classically dark and heavy modern musical score from Hobgoblin, all dialog, narration, and sound effects have been lovingly added to experience the film like never before.
This homage to Nosferatu is a fun way to watch Nosferatu for the first time again. It was not made to in anyway distort the brilliance of the original silent film. It is the hope of it’s contributers to get this film watched by people who would not normally choose to sit and be bothered to read a silent film. It did turn out very enjoyable and has a bit of magic all it’s own, a bit of a mix of happenstance and MST3K, but not quite either. The music is outstanding and if you are a fan of Nosferatu or this is the first time you have heard of it, this is a great way to experience this vampire classic.
